Chikka is considered a sacred site by the local people around Manali, revered for its association with the deity Takshak Nag and the ancient Shivling of Lord Shiva, believed to be around 7,000 years old. This area also serves as summer grazing land for livestock such as sheep, goats, horses, and cows. The trek to Chikka is popular for its cultural significance and proximity to the majestic Deo Tibba peak, standing at 6,001 meters. Chikka is the first acclimatization camp for climbers attempting this mighty peak.

Tour Plan
After a hearty breakfast, the camp is packed up, and the return trek to the roadhead begins, taking around 2 to 3 hours. On the way back to Manali, a delicious lunch stop at a local dhaba.
